Why our finish carpentry stands the test of time.
Many contractors miter inside corners (cutting two 45-degree angles). As wood expands and contracts, these joints inevitably open up. We cope our inside corners—hand-cutting the profile of one piece to fit perfectly over the other. This ensures tight joints that stay tight, season after season.
There is no such thing as a perfectly straight wall or level floor in Denver. We use professional-grade laser levels to establish true level and plumb lines for all installations. Your doors won't ghost-swing open, and your built-ins will be perfectly square, regardless of the quirks of your home's framing.
We don't use MDF in wet areas, and we never use warped lumber. We hand-select materials from trusted local lumber yards, not the big box pick-through pile. This ensures that your trim, baseboards, and doors are stable, smooth, and ready for a flawless paint finish.
We use HEPA-filtered vacuum systems attached to our saws and sanders to capture dust at the source. We also use "ZipWall" barriers when necessary to isolate the work area. At the end of every day, we sweep and vacuum, treating your home with the respect it deserves.
